Prior to immunostaining paraffin tissues, antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended.

The TGOLN2 protein may be involved in regulating membrane traffic to and from the trans-Golgi network. There are several isoforms, which are produced by alternative splicing. The upregulation of TGOLN2 has been indicated in association with suicide cases. However, protein analysis has not verified that there is any direct correlation between suicide and TGOLN2 without alcohol influence. It is a highly glycosylated protein.
