uPAR Rat anti-Mouse, Clone: 109801, Invitrogen
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA523853
In Western blots, this antibody does not cross-react with recombit human uPAR. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.Urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR), also known as CD87, is a glycolipid anchored cell surface protein consisting of three homologous domains. It binds uPA with high affinity and enhances and localizes uPA catalyzed plasminogen activation, and thereby plays a key role in cancer invasion and in several tissue remodelling processes. In addition uPAR also binds to vitronectin and may thereby have biological functions independent of its role in uPA mediated proteolysis. Elevated levels of uPAR are associated with poor prognosis in many types of cancer.
