Thermo Scientific Lab Vision Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Ab-1, Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Provide accurate, reproducible results with the Thermo Scientific Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Ab-1, Rat Monoclonal Antibody.
Manufacturer: Thermo Scientific RT200PABX
Description
Provide accurate, reproducible results with the Thermo Scientific Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Ab-1, Rat Monoclonal Antibody.
VDR is a member of super family of steroid hormone receptors. It is known to play role in cellular growth and differentiation, calcium and phosphorus metabolism and bone remodeling. Human breast carcinomas, leukemias, and prostatic carcinoma cells express VDR, which can modify their growth and differentiation. In avians, VDR appears as a doublet of 58kDa and 60kDa.Host Species: Rat
Clone: 9A7γ.E10.E4
Isotype: IgG2b
Species Reactivity: Human, Pig, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Frog, Chicken and Fish. Others not known.
Epitope: aa 89-105 (near the DNA-binding domain)
Immunogen: Vitamin D receptor protein from chicken intestine
Molecular Weight: 53kDa
Positive Control: LNCAP cells, HeLa cells
Cellular Localization: Nuclear Ab-1 reacts with both the occupied and unoccupied forms of VDR and shows no cross reaction with estrogen and glucocorticoid receptors. It is excellent for biochemical and histochemical applications.
Recommended for:
- Western Blotting
- Gel Supershift Assay
Note:
USA: RUO; Int'l: RUO
