ATG7 Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific PA118299
Description
Reconstitute in 100 μL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. Store lyophilized antibody at 2-8 °C. After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20 °C for a higher stability, and at 4 °C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
This gene was identified based on homology to Pichia pastoris GSA7 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae APG7. In the yeast, the protein appears to be required for fusion of peroxisomal and vacuolar membranes. The protein shows homology to the ATP-binding and catalytic sites of the E1 ubiquitin activating enzymes.
