Description

Used in the treatment of cancer, busulfan is an alkylating antineoplastic drug monitored by clinical labs to ensure patients remain within the drug's therapeutic range. Adverse reactions to busulfan include vomiting, anorexia, anemia, infertility and bone marrow suppression. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantification of busulfan levels by GC/MS or LC-MS/MS for applications such as therapeutic drug monitoring or clinical and diagnostic testing.
