The Bio-Bag™ System incorporates traditional gas-generation methods into a reliable pouch system, eliminating the need to add water.

  • Create anaerobic, CO2-enriched aerobic, or microaerophilic environments, depending on bag type
  • Transparent pouches allow observation without disturbing the environment

Bio-Bag Type A (Anaerobic)

  • Maintains anaerobic conditions for 96 hours
  • 100-Pack holds one 100 × 15mm Petri dish or MIC microdilution plate
  • 25-Pack is ideal for smaller workloads
  • Multi-Plate version holds three 100 × 15mm multi-plate dishes or two API ID strips
Bio-Bag Type C (CO2-enriched aerobic)
  • Maintains CO2-enriched aerobic environment for 48 hours
  • Holds one 100 × 15mm Petri dish or MIC plate
  • Gas generators (14-910-33, also sold separately) have a two-year shelf life
Bio-Bag Type Cfj (Microaerophilic)
  • For microaerophilic environment
  • Supports growth and isolation of Campylobacter jejuni
  • 100-Pack holds one or two 100 × 15mm Petri dishes or MIC plates
  • 25-Pack is designed for smaller workloads
