ERα antagonist; also activates unfolded protein response; active in vivo

BHPI is an estrogen receptor (ER) α inhibitor. Inhibits proliferation of drug-resistant ERα-positive breast and ovarian cancer cells. Induces sustained activation of the unfolded protein response. Active in vivo.
