NB100-65039 reacts with C. jejuni type 1 (K807, K858, K634), C. coli, C. hyointestinalis, C. lardis, C. jejuni type 2. It cross reacts with S. aureus and weakly with P. fluorescens. NB100-65039 reacts with a soluble excreted antigen in EIA. This antibody is unaffected by frozen storage of specimens, unlike antibodies to flagellar antigens which require fresh cultured organisms.
Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
