Carboxypeptidase B2 Monoclonal Antibody (5026), Invitrogen™
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific MA143024
Description
MA1-43024 detects TAFI in human samples. MA1-43024 has successfully been used in WB, ELISA, IA applications. MA1-43024 was derived from human TAFI and activated TAFI.
Carboxypeptidases are enzymes that hydrolyze C-terminal peptide bonds. The carboxypeptidase family includes metallo-, serine, and cysteine carboxypeptidases. According to their substrate specificity, these enzymes are referred to as carboxypeptidase A (cleaving aliphatic residues) or carboxypeptidase B (cleaving basic amino residues). The TAFI protein is activated by trypsin and acts on carboxypeptidase B substrates. After thrombin activation, the mature protein downregulates fibrinolysis.Specifications
