CD268 (BAFF Receptor) Mouse anti-Human, PerCP-eFluor 710, Clone: 8A7, eBioscience
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: eBioscience 46911741
The 8A7 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human BAFF receptor, also known as B lymphocyte stimulator (BLyS protein) receptor, which is expressed on B cells. The ligand for this receptor, BAFF (B cell-activating factor of the TNF family) is a B cell surv00-8222-49) (100 µL of cell sample + 100 µL of IC Fixation Buffer) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product No. 00-5333-57) for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency/compensation. Some generalizations regarding fluorophore performance after fixation can be made, but clone specific performance should be determined empirically. Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 710 nm; Laser: Blue Laser The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for receptors TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR. This cytokine is expressed in B cell lineage cells, and acts as a potent B cell activator. It has been also shown to play an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of B cells.
