Description

This 5tukon56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD56, also known as Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule (NCAM). CD56 is a highly glycosylated transmembrane molecule expressed in both the developing and adult nervous system and plays a role in neurogenesis, migration, neurite extension, and the homotypic adhesion of neural cells. In the hematopoietic system, CD56 is expressed on NK cells and a subset of T cells referred to as NKT cells. For flow cytometric analysis of human CD56, we recommend clones CMSSB or TULY56. Applications Reported: This 5tukon56 antibody has been reported for use in immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. Applications Tested: This 5tukon56 antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded human tissue using low pH antigen retrieval at less than or equal to 10 µg/mL. It is recommmended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. eFluor 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor 647. eFluor 660 emits at 659 nm and is excited with the red laser (633 nm). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
