Estrogen-related receptor 2 (ERR beta, ERR2) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily. All the ERR family members share an almost identical DNA-binding domain, which has 68% amino acid identity with that of estrogen receptor. It has been shown the ERR2 plays a critical functional role in placental development. This peptide corresponds to amino acids D(376) YELSQRHEEPRR (388) of mouse and rat ERR2 and can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA1-315.
