Falcon Cell Culture Inserts
Use with 24-well plates. Corning Falcon Cell Culture Inserts (cell culture on permeable supports) results in greater morphological and/or physiological differentiation of many cell types.

Provide independent access to the basolateral and apical domains of polar cells. Track-etched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) membranes have individual, cylindrical pores and are tissue culture-treated on both sides for cell growth. PET housing is not tissue culture-treated in order to limit cell growth on the side walls of the insert.
- Translucent membranes for 0.4 and 3.0µm pore sizes have high pore density (HD) and are recommended for transport studies
- Transparent membranes are recommended for visualization of live cells by light microscopy
- Flanges on insert rim facilitate handling
- Gamma-irradiation sterilized
For best results, use with tissue culture-treated Falcon Companion Plates
Transport studies, immunocytochemistry, electron microscopy, migration and invasion, and co-culture.
