Forceps, Graefe Fixation Forceps, Sklar, 4-1/4 in., Flat, Straight, Vertically Serrated, Thumb without Locking Catch, Stainless Steel, EA. Sklar's Graefe Fixation Forceps are thumb forceps used in ophthalmologic procedures, often in veterinary health. In veterinary procedures these forceps are used to hold the third eyelid, also known as the TEL. The Graefe forceps are useful for holding this delicate tissue firmly because of the fine serrations. This product is straight with 4mm flat, serrated jaws and an overall length of 4-1/4 inches. It does not have a locking catch mechanism but there is a stop peg to prevent an overly harsh grasp on the tissue being held. Lifetime warranty against all manufacturer defects.
