Polycarbonate Track-Etched membranes are manufactured under Class 100 conditions to be exceptionally contaminant free. Exhibit negligible adsorption/absorption of filtrate, precise pore size, narrow pore distribution, low tare weights, low trace element level.

 

  • Made without polyvinyl pyrrolidone, for use where this wetting agent interferes
  • Created with pore density and size precisely controlled
  • Biologically inert
  • Optically translucent (actually transparent in most pore sizes)
  • Not stained by most solutions
  • Nonhygroscopic
  • Superior strength, chemical resistance, thermal stability
  • Autoclavable
