Description
MA1-25110 detects hCG beta 4 from human samples. MA1-25110 has been successfully used in radioimmune assay procedures. The MA1-25110 immunogen is human Chorionic Gonadotropin. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by trophoblastic cells of the placenta beginning 10 to 12 days after conception. Maintece of the fetus in the first trimester of pregcy requires the production of hCG, which binds to the corpus luteum of the ovary which is stimulated to produce progesterone which in turn maintains the secretory endometrium.Specifications
