    Hexanoyl chloride has been used in the synthesis of (±)-7-butyl-6,8-dihydroxy-3-pentyl-3,4-dihydroisochromen-1-one, 14-methyl-1-octadecene. It is used as crystal liquid, pharmaceutical and organic synthesis material.
