Isopropylphosphonic dichloride is used as a raw material for the preparation of bis(fluoroalkyl) alkylphosphonates by reacting with fluoroalcohols in the presence of triethylamine as catalyst.
Miscible with ethylene glycol and diethyl ether.
Moisture sensitive. Incompatible with oxidizing agents, water and bases.
