Epredia™ Lab Vision™ MMP-9 (92kDa Collagenase IV) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody with BSA and azide
Epredia™ MMP-9 (92kDa Collagenase IV), Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody provides accurate, reproducible results.
Supplier: Epredia™ RB9234R1
Description
Metallomatrix proteases (MMPs) are proteolytic enzymes capable of degrading connective tissue components. They have a common mode of activation, a conserved amino acid sequence in the putative metal binding-active site region, and are inhibited by specific tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases (TIMPs). MMPs and TIMPs play a significant role in regulating angiogenesis. This antibody reacts with both latent and active MMP-9.Host Species: Rabbit
Isotype: IgG
Species Reactivity: Human and Guinea Pig. Does not react with mouse, rat or bovine. Others not tested.
Epitope: Near C-terminus
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide derived from near C-terminal of human MMP-9 protein
Molecular Weight: 92kDa (proform) and ∽86kDa (active form)
Positive Control: Placenta, or Breast CA
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
Recommended for:
- Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin)
- Western Blotting
