Description
Description: The mouse IgA kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin. Applications Reported: Purified Mouse IgA Iso Cntrl has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: The mouse IgA, kappa, immunoglobμLin has been tested as an isotype-matched control for immunofluorescence staining with flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use isotype control at the same concentration as experimental antibody. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
Mouse IgA is an immunoglobulin A antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is a crucial component of the mucosal immune system, which protects the body from pathogens that enter through mucosal surfaces such as the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and urogenital tracts. Mouse IgA is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is the most abundant immunoglobulin in mucosal secretions. It plays a vital role in neutralizing pathogens and preventing their attachment to mucosal surfaces. Mouse IgA is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry.Specifications
