Applications Reported: This mouse IgG2a isotype control has been reported for use in cell surface and intracellular flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This Mouse IgG2a K Isotype Control has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells and can be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2a is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation.
