Neurogenin 2 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (15H30L21), Invitrogen™
Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific 702565
Description
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Dog, Bovine and Rabbit. Recombit rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombit rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.
Neurogenin-2 is a member of the neurogenin subfamily of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor genes that play an important role in neurogenesis from migratory neural crest cells. In the course of mouse neurogenesis, Ngn2 and Ngn1 are expressed in distinct progenitor populations residing in the central and peripheral nervous systems. Mutation analyses demonstrate that Ngn1 is required for the determination of neuronal precursors for proximal cranial sensory ganglia and that Ngn2 is necessary for the determination of precursors for epibranchial placode-derived sensory neurons.Specifications
