Description

Description

OPTIZYME™ T7 RNA Pol is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase that catalyzes the 5'->3' synthesis of RNA from DNA.

Applications and Features:

  • OPTIZYME T7 RNA Polymerase synthesizes unlabeled and labeled RNA that can be used for: (1) hybridization, (2) in vitro RNA translation, (3) RNase protection assays, (4) genomic DNA sequencing, (5) RNA splicing, and (6) studies of RNA secondary structure and RNA-protein interactions
  • Incorporation of modified nucleotides (e.g., aminoallyl-, biotin-, fluorescein-, digoxigenin-labeled nucleotides)

Supplied with:
5X OPTIZYME Transcription Buffer: 200mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.9 at 25°C), 30mM MgCl2, 50mM DTT, 50mM NaCl, 10mM spermidine
Source: E. Coli cells with a cloned T7 RNA Polymerase gene
Quality Control:

  • Endo-, exodeoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease-free
