Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

MKK3 and MKK6 are closely related dual-specificity protein kinases that activate p38 MAP kinase. Phospho MKK3 and phospho MKK6 both phosphorylate and activate p38. p38 phosphorylation dramatically stimulates its ability to phosphorylate protein substrates such as ATF-2 and Elk-1. MKK3 and MKK6 are both activated by different forms of cellular stress and inflammatory cytokines. Phospho MKK3 and phospho MKK6 activation occurs through phosphorylation at S189 and T222 on MKK3 and S207 and T211 on MKK6.
