PLA2R1 Mouse anti-Human, Clone: CL0474, Invitrogen
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA524607
Immunogen sequence: EEKTWHEALR SCQADNSALI DITSLAEVEF LVTLLGDENA SETWIGLSSN KIPVSFEWSN DSSVIFTNWH TLEPHIFPNR SQLCVSAEQS EGHWKVKNCE ERLFYICKKA GHVLSDAESG CQEGWERHGG FCYKID Highest antigen sequence identity to the following orthologs: Mouse - 74%, Rat - 76%. Binds to an epitope located within the peptide sequence KIPVSFEWSN as determined by overlapping synthetic peptides. This gene represents a phospholipase A2 receptor. The encoded protein likely exists as both a transmembrane form and a soluble form. The transmembrane receptor may play a role in clearance of phospholipase A2, thereby inhibiting its action. Polymorphisms at this locus have been associated with susceptibility to idiopathic membranous nephropathy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
