Description

• Provide quantitative, linear substrate binding in the nmol/cm² range due to the high density of streptavidin on the membrane, permitting kinetic studies
• Optimized for low nonspecific binding
• Can be used to analyze a wide variety of biotinylated substances without optimizing each substrate for binding to a matrix
• Bind within one minute
• Provide linear binding of substrates up to the nmol/cm² range, permitting kinetic studies
• Ideal for protein kinase activity quantitation, specific mRNA quantitation, cytokine quantitation, and specific gene quantitation

SAM² Biotin Capture Membrane

• Available as a prenumbered, partially cut sheet, which permits easy separation into 96 individual squares
• Also available as an uncut sheet, which allows for sample application using a multichannel pipetter
• Can be analyzed using phosphorimaging analysis, autoradiography, scintillation counting, or chemiluminescent detection to quantitate results

SAM² 96 Biotin Capture Plate

• Contains SAM² Biotin Capture Membrane in the wells of a microfiltration plate
• Allows washes to be performed using a vacuum manifold or a plate washer
• Supplied with a transparent top seal and an opaque bottom seal, allowing addition of scintillation fluid for data quantitation using a microplate liquid scintillation counter
