Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of FaDu human squamous cell carcinoma cells. When 5 x 104 cells per well are added to recombinant human CHI3-L1 coated plate, cell adhesion is enhanced in a dose dependent manner. The ED50 for this effect is 0.6-2.4 μg/mL.

Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered solution in PBS.
M.W. (Observed): 38-41 kDa, reducing conditions; M.W. (theoretical): 41.3 kDa (monomer)
50 µg
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20°C to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2°C to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20°C to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
>95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
