    An alternative to splitless injection. Direct injection liners for split/splitless injection ports for Agilent™/Finnigan columns. Uniliner liners prevent the sample from contacting metal parts at the base of a splitless injection port. Eliminate reduced response of high molecular weight compounds, adsorption, and catalytic desorption in the inlet, providing higher sensitivity. Tight seal between column inlet and Press-Tight™ taper prevents sample from escaping out of split vent. Easily installed in splitless inlet but must be operated continuously in the purge-off mode. Taper accomodates 0.32 or 0.53mm I.D. columns; recommended operation at column flowrates from 5 to 10cc/min. to minimize peak tailing.

    Standard Liners reduce peak tailing of clean samples and accept larger injection volumes.
    Open-Top Liners are packed with fused silica wool and are ideal for extremely dirty samples. Liners can be easily cleaned with a nylon brush or pipe cleaner.
    Cyclo Liners feature a glass spiral that provides an excellent vaporization surface for high and low molecular weight samples. Provides up to five times as many dirty sample injections as liners packed with wool.
    Uniliner Liners with Hole (Drilled) allow direct injection when using an EPC-equipped GC. Hole is positioned to equalize pressure and maximize sensitivity.
    Liners are available unpacked or prepacked with Fused Silica (FS) Wool for use with active compounds; or with Siltek Glass Wool for increased sensitivity. To order liners in pack quantities, contact your Fisher Scientific™ Customer Service Representative.
