    • In an akaline medium, creatinine forms a yellow-orange colored complex with picric acid; color intensity is directly proportional to concentration of creatinine in urine and measured spectrophotmetrically at 505 nm
    • NaOH R1, picric acid R2, and calibrator solutions are ready for use
