Description

Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human HepG2 whole cell, human HEK293 whole cell, human A549 whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, rat liver tissue, rat stomach tissue, rat lung tissue, mouse liver tissue. IHC: human placenta tissue. ICC/IF: HepG2 cell. Flow: Hela cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the SEC23 subfamily of the SEC23/SEC24 family. It is part of a protein complex and found in the ribosome-free transitional face of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and associated vesicles. This protein has similarity to yeast Sec23p component of COPII. COPII is the coat protein complex responsible for vesicle budding from the ER. The encoded protein is suggested to play a role in the ER-Golgi protein trafficking.
