    • Polymeric (cellulose, cellulose PEI, and alumina) and “G” (silica plates) binders are stable in aqueous solvents and virtually all mobile phases, and withstand many aggressive detection reagents
    • Flexible plastic backing for high durability—can be cut to any size required and stapled into a lab notebook; backing also makes it easy to isolate one spot for subsequent isolation/detection
    • Silica-gel plates separate weakly to strongly polar substances by adsorption chromatography
    • Cellulose plates for partition chromatography
    • Cellulose PEI plates separate weak anion exchangers such as amino acids and peptides (Store PEI plates at 4°C [39°F]; if stored at room temperature, plates may turn slightly yellow, affecting separation. Predevelop in distilled water to minimize yellow color.)
    • Alumina plates separate alkaloids, antibiotics, and hormones
