Sino Biological DDC Recombinant Human Protein, His Tag
This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the full length of human DDC (NP_000781.1) (Met 1-Glu 480) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus
Manufacturer: Invitrogen 10560H08B5
DescriptionDopa Decarboxylase (DDC), recombinant human protein is supplied in frozen format. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as enzymatic analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.
- Activity: Measured by its ability to convert the substrate 3,4-dihydroxy L-phenylalanine (L-Dopa) to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethylamine (dopamine); the dopamine product is measured by its absorbance at 340nM after derivatization with trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid, the specific activity is >1500pmole/min./µg
- Formulation: 50mM Tris, 100mM NaCl, 0.2µg/µL BSA, pH 8, 10% glycerol
- Reconstitution: No reconstitution needed
