Sino Biological EGF Recombinant Canine Protein, His Tag
This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mature form (Asn 973-Arg 1024) of canine EGF (Q9BEA0) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus
Manufacturer: Invitrogen 70013D07E5
DescriptionEpidermal growth factor (EGF), recombinant canine protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in performing cell based assays. In general, recombinant proteins can be used as protein standard and in cell biology research applications.
- Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using BALB/c 3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblasts; the ED50 for this effect is typically 0.1-0.5ng/mL
- Formulation: Lyophilized in 140mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 10mM Na2HPO4, 1.8mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
