    Unique tissue processor directs the flow of all reagents, waxes and cleaning solutions to and from the processing chamber through a maintenance-free single rotary valve within a heated chamber.

    Reagent Management

    • Reagent purge can be programmed to cycle automatically runs after removing processed specimens
    • At the end of the purge process, excess xylene vapor is removed from the reagent system through an activated charcoal filter
    • Since the filter is in an enclosed container, replacement is safe and easy
    Operating System
    • For improved reagent quality management, the ATP1 computer automatically monitors the program status and selects the cleanest reagents based on past processing cycles
    • System can propose reagents that need to be changed and select the schedule accordingly without the user having to manually rearrange bottles
    • Quality management can be controlled by specific groups or by individual bottles
    • Optional dot matrix, 40-column printer can be connected to an RS-232 port
    Reagent System
    • Fully enclosed reagent/pneumatic system's innovative design eliminates the need for overfill sensors to regulate retort filling and the potential escape of toxic fumes
    • Excess reagents are returned to the appropriate container through a unique bottle design in combination with the chamber overfill collection system
    • Activated charcoal filtering process and the enclosed pneumatic reagent system minimize exposure of laboratory personnel to noxious fumes
    Safety Features
    • ATP1 quality control program monitors the concentration of each batch of reagents and displays a pass/fail report
    • Critical parameters, such as heaters, errors and alarm system status, are checked automatically by a diagnostic system
    • Results are displayed and the operator is alerted to replace reagents as needed
    • Computer lockout feature allows the user to program a security code for accessing the system
    • In the event of a power outage or instrument failure, an optional auto dialer modem can be used to alert appropriate personnel
