Insulin Receptor (α-Subunit) Ab-1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, Epredia™
Epredia™ Insulin Receptor (α-Subunit) Ab-1, Mouse Monoclonal Antibody provides accurate, reproducible results.
Supplier: Epredia MS631P1
Description
The human insulin receptor is a heterotetrameric membrane glycoprotein consisting of disulfide-linked subunits in a Β-α-α-Β configuration. The Β-subunit (95kDa) possesses a single transmembrane domain, whereas the α-subunit (135kDa) is completely extracellular.Host Species: Mouse
Clone: 83-14
Isotype: IgG2a/κ
Species Reactivity: Human. Weakly with Cow, Pig and Sheep. Does not react with rabbit, mouse and rat. Others not known.
Epitope: aa 469-592 (exon 7/8)
Immunogen: IM-9 lymphocytes followed by purified insulin receptor
Molecular Weight: 135kDa
Positive Control: IM-9 lymphocyte cells, Placenta
Cellular Localization: Membrane Ab-1 inhibits insulin binding and mimics insulin action. It is excellent for immunoprecipitation of alpha-subunit of IR.
Recommended for:
- Immunoprecipitation
- ELISA
- Insulin-like Agonist
- Inhibits (∽80%) Insulin Binding (10nM)
- Tyrosine Kinase Assay (Ab-mediated capture on microplates)
