The 19 amino acid sequence extends from amino acids 444 to 462 of RAR alpha. The sequence of PEP-004 is (amino to carboxy terminus): C-S-P-S-L-S-P-S-S-H-R-S-S-P-A-T-Q-S-PThis peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies that react with this product and human and mouse RAR*, catalog # MA1-810A and PA1-810A. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody.Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water.
