    Provides a simple and robust method to scan DNA fragments for known and unknown mutations and single nucleotide polymorphisms. Mutations can be detected in four steps: PCR amplification of mutant and reference DNA, hybridization to form hetero- and homoduplexes, digestion with Surveyor Nuclease, and separation by standard agarose or polyacrylamide electrophoresis.
    ·    Utilizes Surveyor Nuclease, which specifically cleaves DNA heteroduplexes at mismatch sites
    ·    Suitable for use with large fragments up to several kb
    ·    Can detect multiple mutations in a single fragment
    ·    Ideal for the verification of the presence or absence of mutations or the localization of mutations to minimize the extent of DNA sequencing
