Determine quantity of uric acid in human serum, plasma or urine in vitro with Thermo Scientific™ Uric Acid Reagents, offering up to 18 months of stability from the manufacture date.

Uric acid is a metabolite of purines, nucleic acids and nucleoproteins. Hyperuricaemia may be observed in renal dysfunction, gout, leukemia, toxemia of pregnancy or some genetic disorders. Decreased levels may be observed with severe hepatocellular disease and defective renal tubular reabsorption.
