Calcium L-Threonate is a calcium aldonate and a calcium supplement. It is intended for research purposes only, specifically for studies related to osteoporosis. This product inhibits the bone resorption of osteoclasts in vitro and has been observed to stimulate ascorbic acid uptake in human T-lymphoma cells in a dose-dependent manner.
