Mailing and Shipping Containers
Mailing and shipping containers can be used to transport culture packs, serums, vaccines, or laboratory specimens. Insulated containers are ideal for refrigerated or frozen materials. Diagnostic containers for specimen transfer are liquid tight and tamper evident. Hard cases can be used for dry ice and wet ice storage, short-term frozen storage, field collection, or cryogenic testing.
Mailing and shipping containers are used to maintain the temperature and integrity of items during transport, including culture packs, serums, vaccines, or laboratory specimens. Insulated containers are ideal for refrigerated or frozen materials and consist of plastic foam enclosed within a corrugated cardboard box.
Containers for diagnostic or clinical specimen transfer may need to be liquid-tight and tamper-evident. Hard cases can be used for dry ice and wet ice storage, short-term frozen storage, field collection, and cryogenic testing.
Shipping and mailing packaging may be tested and certified for temperature maintenance ability. The packaging may also have labels to indicate approval by the Department of Transportation (DOT) or International Air Transport Association (IATA) for shipping potentially infectious or biohazardous materials.

Electron Microscopy Sciences UniMailer™ Microscope Slide Mailer, Yellow
The UniMailer is a truly versatile new model mailer which can easily be used for handling and shipping one or as many slides as needed with one type of mailer. Made from high impact polystyrene, the UniMailer is a one-slide tray. Not only do they fit snugly on top of each other but they are also secured by an innovative locking mechanism. You may also want to insert a tamperproof tie or attach an ID label. Each tray allows for the placing of slide in a horizontal position for full visibility. Slides can be easily inserted or removed. As well UniMailer can also be used to provide safe storage for those valuable slides you want to protect.It accommodates 25 x 75 mm (1" x 3") slides with or without cover glass. The mailer measures 89 mm x 29 mm x 6 mm (3 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1/4"). Identification can be made on three sides or on top. The mailer is available in many popular pastel colors for easy identification.
