The detachable thermocouples are for direct insertion in the reactors using a CG-1048-A or CG-1042-E thermocouple adapter. Detachable type thermocouples have a standard male plug (OST) and require a coiled extension cord for connection to the CG-3498 temperature monitor. The 4 long Hastelloy C-276 thermocouples are supplied with a 4ft FEP insulated cord having a standard male plug (OST).

Chemglass Life Sciences J-KEM Needle tip probe 3.5" T
J-KEM Needle tip probe 3.5" T. Hypodermic needle thermocouples (17 gauge) are ideal for measuring and controlling the temperature of small volumes and inert reactions. Temperature measuring end of the thermocouple is at the tip, so only the first 2 mm of the probe needs liquid contact for accurate temperature measurement forms an air tight seal when inserted through a septum. Needles are sealed on the end for liquid tight applications. Comes with 72 inches of attached Teflon extension wire. Type T input: -200 to 250°C
