This system features an activated carbon filter, which traps volatile organic compounds from being released into the air. This prevents chemicals from being inhaled by lab workers, and provides an easy mechanism of disposal for vapor wastes. The EZwaste Solvent Waste system also features a closed-loop design, which protects against leaks and spills, improving overall lab safety. Each EZwaste Solvent Waste System comes with one 83mm or 120mm open VersaCap, fittings, plugs for unused ports, a replaceable sulfur-cured EPDM gasket, a chemical exhaust filter, and a chemically resilient container. *Depending on application, carbon exhaust filter life cycle may vary.

Installing a piston seal can be a tricky undertaking. A relatively small seal must fit into the seal cavity in such a way to ensure the seal is inserted evenly without distortion or damage. The Optimize Seal Forming/Insertion Tool Kit is specifically designed for easy and successful installation. The kit contains three tools to accommodate all HPLC piston seals. One end has a beveled cavity for seal forming while the other end is an insertion support for perfect seal installation.
