The BUSSMANN Semiconductor Fuse 400A 170M 690VAC 14L638 is a high interrupting rating semiconductor fuse designed for the protection of thyristors and rectifiers. It has a voltage rating of 690VAC and a current rating of 400A. The fuse has fast acting overload protection with a fuse opening time of less than 8 milliseconds at 500% load. It has a compact 14x38mm physical size. The fuse body is made of fiberglass reinforced polyester. It can interrupt up to 170,000 RMS symmetrical amperes at 480VAC. This fast-acting, high interrupting semiconductor fuse provides optimal protection.
