The Kyocera 170HH2 is a 1/2" diameter, 2 flute, high helix end mill made of micrograin carbide with TiAIN coating. It has a 1-1/2" LOC and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. The end mill features variable helix flutes to reduce harmonics and chatter and is designed for slotting, profiling, and contouring in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. It has a center cutting design allowing plunge cuts and is made in Japan by Kyocera, a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools.
