The end mill features a 135 degree split point tip and is designed for high feed milling in a variety of materials including steels, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, plastics and composites. With its high speed steel construction, this end mill provides good wear resistance and tool life. The 170HG2 is well-suited for slotting, side milling and contouring operations.
