The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 3/8" shank diameter and can cut unified thread sizes from 4-56 to 1"-8 as well as metric thread sizes from M1 to M24. The tool comes with one DCMT 21.51 carbide insert and can cut a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze and plastics. It is made in the USA and well-suited for production threading applications. The tool provides accurate threading starts and can machine up to and including one diameter in depth.
