The AutoClip wound closure system provides a fast and effective alternative to sutures for closing wounds in research animals. The system is ideal for quickly closing skin incisions made for ALZET pump implantations, enabling researchers to streamline surgeries and save valuable time. The AutoClip Kit 500 includes three components: AutoClips (quantity 500), AutoClip Applier and AutoClip Remover. The 9 mm AutoClips are ideal for use in rats and provide maximum holding force while minimizing skin trauma. They are easily placed using the automatic, spring-loaded AutoClip Applier. After wound healing the AutoClips Remover is used to remove the clips. All components are supplied non-sterile but may be autoclaved. When needed, additional AutoClips can be purchased separately.

Simply by removing the water bottle from the wire bar cage cover and placing the Euthanex Lid over the host cage, you are ready to perform euthanasia. You no longer need to transfer animals. The lids are available in five sizes to accommodate virtually all plastic cage sizes designed for small lab animals. These heavy duty stainless steel lids have a stem fitting for connection to the quick-disconnect fitting on the regulator hose from the regulator. A foam lid gasket ensures a good seal on the cage. Multiple lids may be used to treat several cages at once.

The gas anesthesia mask is installed over the incisor bar, with the cone opening toward the open “U”. The animal (rat or mouse) is installed by placing its teeth over the incisor bar, and sliding the adaptor forward until the cone is snug about the animal’s nose, thereby substituting for the nose clamp. The teeth and the cone provide a snug, stable hold. Anesthetic gas flows in the tubing connector, past the animal’s nose, and out the other side. Spent gas may be routed to recycling, exhaust or gas analysis instruments.

Small Euthanex Lid, to be used in conjunction with cages sized to fit within these dimensions for a tight seal. Euthanex lids allow animals to be gently euthanized through the precise control of gas introduction. The animals remain in their home cages, thereby minimizing added stress. The lid system is highly economical and efficient and still widely used today. Our lids are constructed of heavy-duty, stainless steel. They include an easy, quick disconnect lid stem for gas input as well as a foam gasket for a secure fit. The foam gasket seal allows the lids to be used with smaller cage sizes.

CARD HyperOva is an ultra-superovulation reagent that induces ovulation at higher efficiency when compared with the conventional superovulation induction method (PMSG-hCG method). Following the conventional method, we were only able to obtain approximately 20 ova per mouse (C57BL/6J) on average; using CARD HyperOva, however, we can obtain as many as 3-4 times more ova.

PinPort™ for Catheters and Tubing
The PinPort™ provides fast, aseptic access to externalized rodent catheters or tubing for dosing or blood sampling. It can reduce study costs and improve compliance with the 3Rs. The system consists of a lightweight port and a mating injector which can access the port hundreds of times.
The PinPort™ is available with 22ga, 25ga or 28ga couplers to mate with 3Fr, 2Fr or PE10 catheters, respectively. The white or red colors can be used to distinguish vessels. Use only PNP3M injectors or PinPort™ connectors to access PinPorts™; any other type of needle will damage the port. All parts are provided sterilized by ethylene oxide.
Designed for short-term intermittent, manual access. It is not designed to be connected to a tether and swivel for remote or continuous access.
