Waters TA Instruments UV-LED Adapter Kit allows UV initiated reactions to be studied on Discovery DSC 250 and 2500 series instruments. The adapter base centers light beams on the sample and reference pedestals without compromising measurement sensitivity or accuracy. A quartz window maintains temperature uniformity in the DSC cell, while a light guide with angled LED slots directs light to the sample and reference pedestals. Two lids ensure accuracy and precision are not compromised. Neutral density filters allow measurements in the 5-100 mW/cm² range relevant to UV initiated DSC studies.
