Need disposable stir bars for use with 8mm glass shell vials? RL 352A stir bars are the perfect size. Parylene is vapor deposited to the surface of every stir bar ensuring the best possible encapsulation and guards against reaction interference. While the vast majority of chemical reactions do not affect the Parylene coating, extended stirring times of heterogeneous mixtures at elevated temperatures, ethereal solvents such as Dioxane and THF may cause degradation.

Grainger Round Rod Aluminum 36 in Overall L PK3
The Aluminum Rod 6061 from Grainger is 3/8 inch in diameter and is made of aluminum alloy 6061. It has excellent corrosion resistance and good machinability and surface finishing. The rod has a tensile strength range of 38-45 ksi and meets ASTM B211 specifications. It comes in 12 foot lengths and has a smooth surface finish. The aluminum rod can be used for shafts, fixtures, couplings and other precision parts where strength and corrosion resistance is needed.
