The Senn Retractor is a hand retractor named after the German surgeon August Carl Senn. The Senn retractor lets you gently hold back or retract tissues for better visibility and access to the surgical site. It is commonly used in procedures involving skin, subcutaneous tissues, or superficial muscles. The retractor's blades can be inserted between layers of tissue and gently maneuvered to create the desired exposure. Use it for wound exposure, soft tissue dissection, or orthopedic applications. The two ended handle has both fenestrated and solid blades which are both flat, thin, and curved to facilitate tissue retraction and maneuverability. Choose either blunt or sharp blades. The WPI Senn Retractors are 15.9 cm (6.25") long. They are manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel or premium German steel, both of which are autoclavable. WPI recommends properly cleaning all your surgical instruments promptly after use.

A wire eyelid speculum is a surgical instrument used by ophthalmologists to keep eyelids open during an exam or surgery. It consists of two curved blades that are gently inserted between the upper and lower eyelids to hold them open, allowing the ophthalmologist a clear view of the eye. Our small wire speculum is made of surgical grade stainless steel or our premium German steel, and it comes in two sizes, with a spread of 13 and 25 mm. This wire speculum can be sterilized with a chemical sterilant or by autoclaving. Be sure to clean, disinfect and sterilize your surgical instruments promptly after each use to ensure they last for many years.

World Precision Instrument Gelpi Retractor, 11.5cm
The Gelpi Retractor is a self-retaining tissue retraction for use during surgical procedures. Self-retaining retractors remain in place once they are positioned, freeing your hands. The retractor has two sharp, hooked ends that are used to grasp and retract tissue. This double-ended design allows for versatility in retraction and enables the surgeon to adjust the retractor as needed during the procedure. Gelpi Retractors have a ratchet mechanism that allows you to adjust the distance between the two ends to accommodate different tissue thicknesses and provides better control over the retraction. The retractor has fine, pointed tips for precise tissue manipulation with minimal tissue trauma. The sharp tips ensure a secure grip of the tissue without causing excessive damage or slippage. Choose from your length, 9 cm (3.5"), 11.5 cm (4.5"), or 14 cm (5.5") long. Choose a shorter retractor for a shallower or smaller incision.
